A colleague of mine at Linköping University (Sweden), professor Staffan Larsson, and I have recently published an open access report on Swedish study circles. Apart from giving an overview on the study circle tradition and the state of art at present time it includes a bibliography on literature about study circles in general and a list of Internet resources (among others the Australian Study Circles Network). If you think it could be of interest for your organization, and/or your followers, you are very well-come to spread information about this report in any way you find suitable.

Folks thanks for your support for our Biochar learning circles.

Like everything Bc has to be done right i.e low temp charcoal + from dead trees not munching up old growth forests. Plus BC can come from all organic sources not just trees. Plus Bc also releases gasses that can drive a vehicle and heat that can be used to heat another retort so its efficiency multiplies – Amazon Indians millennia ago developed the multiple retort idea (they would build it on a hill with the gasses moving upwards. Further their use of Biochar increased the fertility of their lands. So if undertaken respectfully Biochar has multiple benefits.

Tim Flannery considers it as almost a ‘magic pudding’ .

So learning circles are helping this ancient product and process stay in the hands of us citizens and not be taken over by ‘big farma’ so to speak. Thanks to Study Circles for your support.

I came across Dialogue to Change material on the web. It looks interesting, unfortunately I could not download the organising manual (error message – resource could not be found). Could you please direct me to the manual?

Also, do you have any examples of it being used in a workplace setting?
